Resettlement and Tenancy Support Services

If you are moving out of emergency or transitional accommodation or if you consider that you need some on-going support around your tenancy, COPE Galway Tenancy Support staff can help you. A worker can meet with you in advance of you moving into your own accommodation to help you identify your needs and to address any practical issues that may hinder the process of securing and moving into your accommodation. COPE Galway Towards Independence Project at Bridge House

bridge-house-web-imageIs a transitional accommodation service which facilitates men who were homeless to move on from emergency accommodation in the COPE Galway Fairgreen Hostel in a timely manner by providing a step down transitional housing option for those men who are not ready to move immediately to independent living. The project is structured so as to ensure that from the outset of their stay in the Towards Independence Project the focus is on supporting the men to address underlying factors which contributed to their homelessness and to identifying and securing suitable longer term independent housing options.

Men living in emergency accommodation at the Fairgreen Hostel who are not ready to move immediately to independent living.
