Paul Dilger has worked at senior levels in sales and marketing for 25 years, with the last 15 years exclusively in the technology sector.
A graduate of Cambridge University in Classical Linguistics, with a North American MBA in Marketing and International Business, Paul has worked with small, mid-sized and large enterprises, both private and public, on both the corporate and agency sides. In addition to being a sales professional with a quota, and a marketing practitioner, Paul has led sales teams and marketing teams.
Paul also runs his own sales and marketing consulting practice, which provides sales and marketing change management expertise to high tech and 'cloud' companies. He is experienced in product marketing, go to market strategy and sales pipeline-building, and is an award-winning copywriter and communicator.
Paul has worked with COPE Galway since 2011 through the charitable foundation of The TAS Group which provides employee time off for charitable activities in the local community. Paul worked with COPE Galway to establish processes to improve new and repeat donations through mechanisms like standing orders.
Paul is married to a Galway girl and their family have been residents of Athenry since 2007, where his children go to the local gaelscoil. Paul's wife Mary Kate (nÃ©e Heaslip) is currently studying at NUIG and is also active in the local community as, among other things, founder of Athenry Breastfeeding Peer Support Group. Paul is Chairman of Athenry Tennis Club and is a keen sports player and fan. He is a member of Athenry Golf Club, where he consistently underperforms.
