What we do

In our day centre we provide a welcoming environment where older people can drop in for a cup of tea and talk to staff, volunteers and neighbours.  The centre is there for older people and is led by their needs. We want to ensure that no older person is lonely or isolated.

Due to illness or a change in health status an older person may be unable to come to the centre when this happens staff and volunteers can visit older people in their own homes, hospital or in a nursing home. These visits are essential as they provide much needed social contact at a time when people may become isolated.
